Since we first came into being in 2010, our mission has been to facilitate innovation and leadership through the methods of action learning.  Over the past 6 years we have provided recognised courses, accredited and continuous professional development programmes to a wide range of organisations across the UK and Ireland, Europe, China and the U.S.A.

The Centre for Action Learning Facilitation is the only provider for accredited qualifications in Action Learning Facilitation and the following UK Government regulated ILM Level 5 qualifications were written by C-ALF’s Director, Christine Abbott.

Choosing the programme that is right for you and your organisation

Before enrollment we will carefully talk through your development needs to ensure that the programme meets your aspirations to ensure that the programme is right for you.

When working with organisations, we will meet with you to carefully understand your organisation’s development needs so that we can design a bespoke programme best suited to best suit your requirements. We will then provide you with an outline proposal for your consideration before creating a more detailed plan before the pilot and/or roll-out.  Should your employees not wish to complete an accredited qualification we are also able to provide bespoke Continuous Professional Development programmes mapped to the curriculums for the following courses.

Introduction to Action Learning Facilitation

This is a three day programme that introduces action learning facilitation focusing on the 'in set' role of the facilitator. It is a very practical programme with a lot of hands on facilitation practice and feedback. There is a learning log to complete at the end of each day that results in you receiving ILM recognition.

Please note that although this programme uses the learning outcomes for the full ILM qualification it is not assessed therefore no certificate of credit can be issued.  If you wish to progress to the full qualification you can use this three day programme to count against the days' attendance but you will need to complete an assessment.
