Tyrell Simpson

Tyrell Simpson is an experienced Social Worker, manager and trainer with nearly twenty years’ experience in the sector.  Having worked for Staffordshire County Council for almost ten years in a variety of settings within a framework of relevant legislation and procedures, Tyrell has extensive experience of management in residential children’s setting, open and secure units and expert knowledge and practise in supporting individuals, families and groups within the community, often working in multi-disciplinary teams. A particular achievement, as Project Manager, was responsibility for the implementation of the Social Pedagogy pilot into Children’s Residential Services.

As an independent Practice Teacher for Staffordshire County Council, Visiting Lecturer at Keele University and an associate of Centre for Action Learning Facilitation Tyrell continues to create and deliver a range of bespoke training, development and supervision programmes
